My background
I'm James, a personal trainer at Fitness First Tottenham court road. I have been in the fitness industry since 2003 and have been involved in sports from a very young age, keeping myself strong and conditioned in the gym. Aside from that, I practice boxing and rope flow and aim to keep my body healthy and well-balanced.

My main goal is to help my clients feel better than when they first walked through the door, keeping them pain-free, moving well and becoming more athletic while reaching their fitness goals. As a client, I first assess your fitness level and consider your fitness goals to create a plan where we can progress, prioritizing form and safe technique before advancing.

I work with clients on strength and conditioning, sports-specific training, injury prevention, rehabilitation, weight loss, boxing and athletic performance. I am a level 3 personal trainer, Advanced functional trainer with qualifications in Kettlebell and Bulgarian bag training. I have a Sports Science National diploma, along with qualifications in nutrition. Lastly, I am a CHEK institute level 2 and a holistic lifestyle coach - I prioritize an integrated approach to training to create optimal results from physique and performance goals to injury prevention goals.
